Our best are worth their weight in gold
As a craft business, the training of our junior staff is particularly important to us. This year, we once again had reason to celebrate: four young men and women completed their training as opticians with excellent grades and distinction. Good performance pays off at Binder Optik – so the four newly qualified journeymen and women Judith Faißt, Franziska Meilbeck, Julius Billwiller and Lukas Daubner were invited to an award ceremony at our headquarters in Böblingen at the end of August.
Managing Director Dominic Baur congratulated the four graduates on their outstanding degrees with average grades of 1.4 and 1.6 respectively. Outstanding employees are worth their weight in gold at Binder Optik – in the truest sense of the word! Dominic Baur presented each of the four with an award in the form of a gold bar.
What do the newly qualified journeymen do after their training?
Judith Faißt remains part of the Binder Optik team in Kornwestheim. Lukas Daubner was trained in Holzgerlingen and is now moving to the Herrenberg site. Both would like to attend master school at a later date.
HR Manager Sabine le Plat bid a wistful farewell to the two other guests of honor on the day. Franziska Meilbeck is leaving Binder Optik to study optometry at Aalen University. Julius Billwiller is moving from his training location in Reutlingen back to his home town in south-eastern Baden-Württemberg.
