They are important members of a corporate family in which everyone looks after each other,” said Dr. Helmut Baur, founder of Binder Optik, welcoming a total of 21 long-serving employees of the company at two events on 22 and 28 October 2015 to honor the jubilarians.
Together, these long-serving employees have over 335 years of professional experience as opticians. In his speech, Dr. Baur also emphasized the good cooperation: “Together, we not only achieve goals in our specialist stores, but also celebrate successes.”
The awards ceremony took place during a joint lunch at the Ehninger Sternerestaurant “Landhaus Feckl”. The jubilarians received certificates and small gifts such as flowers, sparkling wine and gold bars. At the same time, there was an opportunity to look back and talk about shared experiences over the years.
Dominic Baur, Managing Director of Binder Optik, says: “The challenges facing employees and the demands of customers are increasing. Customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction are our top priorities.”
A recent customer survey carried out by DISQ (Deutsches Institut für Service-Qualität GmbH & Co. KG) shows that these words are put into practice, with Binder Optik being awarded the quality rating “very good” four times. Besides Binder Optik, only two other opticians in the whole of Germany received this award.
