What are single vision glasses?
Whether short-sightedness, long-sightedness or astigmatism: single-vision spectacles correct one type of visual defect at a time. The lens is fully optimized for one distance of vision. It therefore only has one lens strength. Distance glasses allow you to see clearly at long distances, whereas reading glasses allow you to see clearly at short distances.
