Future secured: Optik Siegert becomes Binder Optik
Welcome to Binder! Welcome to the family! Just in time for the start of the year, Binder Optik took over the Optik Siegert specialist store in Mannheim-Feudenheim. After a good 40 years in Feudenheim, one of Mannheim’s oldest districts, Optik Siegert is firmly interwoven with its history. Master optician Frank Siegert and his team are all the more pleased to have found a successor in Binder Optik who shares the same values and will carry them into the future. The business will remain. And so will the contacts.
“40 years of company history deserve great respect. We greatly appreciate the reputation that Optik Siegert enjoys and will continue this success with determination. Under the new flag, the local customer base can look forward to consistent customer and service orientation, the best advice and price quality. After all, Binder Optik 2024 has been awarded the “Germany’s Best Opticians” seal of approval for the seventh time in a row in the major Focus Money and Deutschland Test. And we also want to do justice to this honor at our new location in Mannheim,” assures Binder Optik Managing Director Dominic Baur.
Master optician Frank Siegert is delighted with the successful takeover: “I am grateful that our family business will remain in the district. This was important to me and is not a matter of course in times of increased closures due to unresolved succession planning. I would therefore like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers for their trust and loyalty over the years. I am sure that this will remain the case under the succession of Binder Optik.”
On January 30, 2025, the specialist store will reopen at Hauptstraße 78. With the store at Niederfeldstraße 129 in the Almenhof district, this is now the second Binder Optik address in Mannheim.
