Your path as an office management assistant (m/f/d)
The apprenticeship to become an office management assistant takes 3 years. If you perform well at school and in the company, you can shorten the training period to 2.5 years.
As a trainee, you will work in various departments in our administration – or head office, as we call it – including merchandise management, internal sales, accounting, HR and marketing. This gives you the opportunity to experience all areas of this apprenticeship in practice and to practise them. You will also find out where your strengths and weaknesses lie and which area is best suited to your future career after the apprenticeship.
In addition to training in our administration departments, you will attend vocational school twice a week. There you will learn the theoretical background and the necessary knowledge for your practical tasks. You can then practise and consolidate this theoretical knowledge in the so-called inter-company training.
After your apprenticeship, there is the possibility that you will be taken on. You can then expand your career in one of the specialist areas and develop further through individual support measures. We are also happy to support you financially within a support program. This will allow you to take on more and more interesting tasks.
