Career at a glance: New trainees at Binder Optik-Up
Industry, trade, crafts … Many sectors are desperately looking for committed young talent.
We have it and are delighted to welcome eleven new optician trainees in September. Nine women and two men will now be taking their first steps into professional life in the branches in Kornwestheim, Geislingen, Nördlingen, Stuttgart-Möhringen and -Degerloch, Heilbronn, Reutlingen, Karlsruhe, Heidelberg, Ravensburg and Pfullendorf.
To give the next generation the tools they need, Binder Optik organizes a welcome event for all new trainees at its headquarters in Böblingen. Right at the beginning, Binder Optik Managing Director Dominic Baur provided exciting insights into the history of the family business, its development and ambitious goals for the future. HR Manager Sabine le Plat contributed interesting company figures.
Sales manager Mario Lehanka gave exciting insights into the day-to-day work of a sales manager. And Ruven Hofmann, master optician and head of the training workshop, introduced the prospective opticians to the opportunities for learning, practising and working together at Binder Optik.
Afterwards, the obligatory Binder Optik speed dating session gave the young trainees the opportunity to get to know each other better. With a goodie bag and Binder rucksack perfectly equipped for the start of their careers, it was then time for the lunch break. After a little refreshment with Italian delicacies, the next highlight was already waiting for the budding opticians. The tricky tasks that had to be solved in the Stuttgart escape room brought real team spirit and a wide variety of talents to light. All three teams were able to escape from the respective rooms in under an hour with a great deal of commitment and enthusiasm.
