Binder Optik welcomes new trainees to the company

This year, 14 new trainees are starting their careers at Binder Optik – 13 of them budding opticians and one office management assistant. On September 30, they met for a joint welcoming event at the headquarters in Böblingen.

HR Manager Sabine le Plat warmly welcomed the new trainees. Over the course of the day, she told them everything they needed to know about the training process, subsequent further training opportunities and the company’s internal learning program. Managing Director Dominic Baur took the opportunity to welcome the new employees personally and gave them an insight into the history and philosophy of the family business. In addition to lots of important information, getting to know each other was of course also on the agenda.

Over the next three years, the budding opticians will learn the optician’s trade from the ground up at the vocational school, their training specialist store and the company’s own training workshop. The trainee office management assistant at the head office in Böblingen will work in merchandise management, sales and marketing.
