Anyone wishing to take their master craftsman’s examination will find Dominic Baur willing to listen to them when it comes to supporting their time and money-intensive further training. “The profession of optician involves a lot of responsibility. We are happy to support committed employees in acquiring the title of master craftsman. After all, we want our profession to continue to be practiced by top professionals,” says Baur.

Training has always been a top priority at Binder Optik. Once again this year, numerous apprentices have started their training at Binder Optik. Dominic Baur, says: “Opticianry is a very exciting profession that is developing enormously, especially due to digitalization. Everything is on offer, from 3D vision tests to increasingly detailed eye analyses. I’m very keen to introduce young people to this exciting profession.” Many of the former trainees stay with the company and the drop-out rate is practically zero. This is because they appreciate the atmosphere in the medium-sized company, where decision-making paths are short and opportunities for promotion are high.
