Binder Optik awards university prize

Sandra Wagner was awarded the university prize by Binder Optik GmbH on December 9, 2015. In a small ceremony at Aalen University, the prizewinner presented her thesis on the topic of “Strength profiles of soft single-vision and multifocal contact lenses” and was praised almost effusively by all the speakers. In fact, it was clear from her presentation just how much effort went into her Bachelor’s thesis.

Dr. Helmut Baur, Managing Director of Binder Optik, was delighted that such a hard-working and highly talented student had been awarded the prize. It is safe to assume that both are no coincidence: the parents of prizewinner Sandra Wagner run a total of ten specialist opticians in the Trier region. ™
