Binder Optik welcomes 15 new trainees
Dominic Baur, Managing Director of Binder Optik, and Sabine le Plat, HR Officer, welcomed the new trainees with a “Welcome Day” at the administration office in Böblingen. In addition to introducing the company, the focus was on getting to know each other.
In times of a shortage of skilled workers in the optical industry, Binder Optik is focusing more than ever on training. “The qualified training of young people is very important to us. Due to the steady growth of our company, we will continue to have a high demand for excellently trained specialists in the coming years,” says Dominic Baur.
In addition to training in the dual system by master opticians in the specialist stores and regular attendance at vocational school, trainees receive further training several times a year at the in-house Binder Academy. Here, important areas such as talking to customers, sales and product knowledge are deepened. Numerous state winners among the trainees who come from Binder Optik confirm this concept.
A new office management assistant has also joined the Binder administration team. The aim here is to ensure optimum support for the branches, suppliers and customers.
