Binder Optik welcomes 15 new trainees
In September 2017, 15 prospective specialists started their careers at Binder Optik. Mr. Dominic Baur, Managing Director of Binder Optik and Ms. Sabine le Plat, HR Officer, welcomed the new trainees, who were accompanied by their trainers, with a “Welcome Day” at the administration office in Böblingen. In addition to introducing the company, getting to know each other was the top priority.
In times of a shortage of skilled workers in the optical industry, Binder Optik is focusing more than ever on training. “The qualified training of young people is very important to us. Due to the steady growth of our company, we will continue to have a high demand for excellently trained specialists in the coming years,” says Dominic Baur.

In addition to training in the dual system by master opticians in the specialist stores and regular attendance at vocational school, trainees receive further training several times a year at the in-house Binder Academy. Here, important areas such as talking to customers, sales and product knowledge are deepened. Numerous state winners among the trainees who come from Binder Optik confirm this concept.
